She is currently working as Professor in Department of Critical Care Medicine at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. She worked in Cardiac Anesthesia at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for 3 years. Her area of interests in Critical Care Medicine are neuro critical care & mechanical ventilation. She has served as an editorial board member of various journals like Journal of Acute Care (JAC). She is the regular reviewer of many journals like IJCCM (Indian journal of Critical Care Medicine), Indian Journal of Anesthesia (IJA), and Journal of Anesthesiology and Clinical Pharmacology (JOACP). She has about 50 publications in indexed national and international journals and chapters in books with about 250 citations. She has organized many workshops on mechanical ventilation and ultrasound in ICU. She participated as a speaker at various National and International Conferences on topics like Neuro-Critical Care, Ventilation and Haemodynamics
