He is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Kansas Medical Center and a vascular neurologist at The University of Kansas Health System. He earned his medical degree from Coimbatore Medical College, India. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he also served as chief resident. He previously trained in internal medicine and neurology at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, and PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore, in India. He later pursued a stroke fellowship at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, Canada.  His clinical expertise includes the evaluation and management of acute stroke, with research interests in imaging predictors of stroke outcomes, carotid web pathophysiology, and hyperacute stroke imaging. He has over 50 peer-reviewed publications, four book chapters, and nearly 20 national and international research presentations. A dedicated educator, he is passionate about mentoring medical students and residents. He has delivered multiple lectures, including university grand rounds, and actively contributes to stroke research and education.
