Abstract
Maturity is a complex and multifaceted process shaped by brain development and external environmental influences. The paper aims to bridge gaps in understanding maturity by integrating perspectives from multiple disciplines through philosophical exploration. It introduces the Ogunlade Maturity Triangle, a conceptual model that draws upon the Pythagorean theorem to describe how maturity emerges from the interplay between the brain and the world. The triangle emphasizes the roles of cognitive development, environmental influences, and their interaction in shaping maturity. The Ogunlade Theorem of Maturology offers multidisciplinary insights into human development and behavior. Through this model, the combined effects of internal cognitive growth and external experiences in the development of maturity which shape human behavior and the world are explored. This model uniquely integrates mathematical principles with psychological and sociological dynamics to conceptualize maturity. The framework offers applications in education, mental health, sociology, psychology, and policy-making by promoting a nuanced understanding of maturity.
